How We Assess Christian Athletes
We evaluate NFL players on the same nine biblical signals as media and celebrities — public faith statements, conduct, charitable work, lifestyle choices, and whether their public witness is consistent with their claimed faith. A player who says "I thank God" once in a press conference scores differently than one who leads Bible study, runs a foundation, and maintains consistent Christ-honoring conduct off the field.
Being a great football player does not make someone a great Christian witness, and being a genuine Christian does not require being publicly demonstrative about it. We assess the full picture.
