How We Assess Musicians

We score musicians on both their music content and their personal faith witness. A musician who writes explicitly Christian lyrics but lives in open contradiction to their faith scores differently than one whose music is spiritually Mixed but whose personal conduct is clean. We assess the whole picture — music themes, lyrical content, public statements, and off-stage conduct.

Philippians 4:8 is our standard: is what we are consuming true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable? A chart-topping song does not automatically pass that test — nor does a Christian label automatically mean the content is edifying.
