GodlyScore evaluates movies, shows, games, music, influencers, companies, and cultural topics through nine biblical signals. Every score reflects content, context, and the fruit it tends to produce, not just a checklist of what is present.
GodlyScore evaluates every piece of content against nine biblical signals, each grounded in specific Scripture:
GodlyScore is not a holiness meter and it does not replace your conscience. It summarizes biblical signals so you can see where deeper discernment is needed. A high score does not mean a title is spiritually essential. A low score does not mean you are sinning by engaging with it. Scores reflect content, context, and the fruit content tends to produce, compared to biblical standards.
Context changes meaning. The Bible contains violence, sexual sin, deception, and spiritual warfare, but it does not celebrate them as good. Discernment asks not only "Is it present?" but "What does this teach me to love, excuse, fear, desire, or imitate?"
Every GodlyScore guide is personally reviewed and approved by Michael Krynski, Lead Elder of the Luke 12 Two Foundation. The Luke 12 Two Foundation is a Christ-centered ministry committed to equipping Christians for biblical discernment in everyday life.
GodlyScore uses an AI scorer to analyze media and cultural topics in real time. The AI applies the nine GodlyScore signals to generate a score and summary. AI scores are always reviewed for accuracy, and scores for major titles are locked to prevent drift. Known artists and titles have curated assessments written by the GodlyScore team.
See our comparison of GodlyScore and Common Sense Media for how a biblical discernment lens differs from a general content-advisory approach.
Where a guide makes a specific factual claim about a title's content, ratings, box office, cast, or release, we link to the specific page that supports it, not just a publisher's homepage. We favor primary sources (official statements, court and regulatory records, box office data) and established content-advisory outlets (Common Sense Media, Plugged In, Kids-in-Mind, IMDb parental guides) over aggregators. If we can't find reliable support for a claim, we remove or qualify it rather than leave it unsourced.
We get things wrong sometimes, and we'd rather fix an error than defend it. If you spot a factual mistake, an outdated score, or a broken source, use the "Factual Correction" option on our contact page. We review every submission, and when a guide is corrected, we say so plainly rather than quietly editing the page. We don't promise a specific turnaround time, but corrections are treated as a priority, not routine content updates.
