The content rating (ESRB) provides a baseline, but GodlyScore evaluates the specific nature of the content — not just its presence.

A game rated E can still have occult concerns (some argue Pokemon falls here). A game rated M can have a morally serious framework that makes it appropriate for discerning adults (Elden Ring). The ESRB rating is data, not the final answer. Philippians 4:8 is the final answer.
