The jellybean character design and slapstick obstacle course format mean there is literally no violence — characters simply fall down and get eliminated. No blood, no weapons, no realistic conflict of any kind. The tone is relentless silliness.
The game builds genuine competitive skills in a completely low-stakes context. Children learn to handle losing (they will lose most rounds, as only 1 of 60 wins each show) in an environment where losing is clearly fun and funny rather than shameful. This is excellent character formation for competitive environments.
Fall Guys is free-to-play and funded through cosmetic microtransactions — costume pieces and emotes that change how your jellybean looks but don't affect gameplay.
